Eyebrow enhancement
What is Nano Brows (aka Micropigmentation)?
Nano Brows, a new semi-permanent technology where the needle is extremely thin, help achieve the finest hairlines that look fine and natural along with smooth and intensive coloring that can be flexible in length and curves. There are many advantages of this technology such as perfect lines that can be drawn effortlessly, minimization of cuts on the surface of the skin, reduced risk of scarring, high quality, and beautiful results.
Nano brows, (AKA nanoneedle or micropigmentation) are created with one single needle and a permanent makeup device. Similar to a conventional tattoo machine (although nowhere near as intense or painful!), the device is then used to provide controlled movement as it dispenses pigment into the skin.
What is Microblading?
Microblading is a form of semi-permanent eyebrow embroidery that will enhance the look of your eyebrows. A collection of around 10 to 16 fine needles configured into a blade shape will be used alongside a small instrument to deliver pigment into the skin. Once the cuts have manually been made, pigment is left on the skin for a few minutes before being wiped off and anesthetized to reveal your new brows.
What is the difference between Microblading and Nano Brows?
Micro-pigmentation is done by a machine with a single fine needle. Also known as nano brow or micropigmentation, nano brows are created with one single needle and a gentle device. Similar to a conventional tattoo machine (although nowhere near as intense or painful!), the device is then used to provide controlled movement as it dispenses pigment into the skin.

Skilled practitioners can create natural and beautiful results using either technique.
We are specialized in both procedures. We recommend Micropigmentation (machine procedure) because we feel it is more comfortable and safer for the client. We believe that the single-needle method of Micro-pigmentation promotes faster healing and better results compared to the slicing technique used in Microblading.
You’ll get a more effective result from nano needling as the procedure involves less trauma to the skin. With microblading, the pins used to create the blade shape for microblading are more rigid than the flexible and fine ones used for nano brow. Nano brow also comes with the benefits of offering a more natural and crisp result, with less risk of the pigment being implanted too deep. Basically, see nano needling as microblading but with more precision and accuracy.
What are some things you should know before deciding on a Micropigmentation service?
We recommend that you research different artists and see styles and techniques that best fit you. Review photos of the artist’s work and see if it matches your personal style.

How should I prepare for the appointment?
This procedure requires 5-7 days to heal. If you have any special occasions, vacations, etc. please plan ahead! (Sensitive skin may be more susceptible to redness and swelling after the procedure as well). Clients need to refrain from facial treatments, swimming, tanning, exercising, or sweating during the healing period. Also, refrain from making an appointment during your menstrual cycle. (Due to being more sensitive to pain and increased blood circulation that affects retainment of pigments) Do not use retinol or oil products for at least a week prior to the scheduled appointment. Light makeup on the day of the appointment is acceptable, as we will want to see your makeup style to find the best shape for your facial features.
What are the pre and post-care procedures?
In order to achieve the best results, it is best to follow the pre and post-care instructions.
Prior to your procedure, clients are advised of the following:
Avoid alcohol and aspirin/ibuprofen and any vitamins that may thin your blood for 48-72 hours. Tylenol is ok
No chemical peels, Botox, or fillers at least two weeks prior to the procedure.
No excessive tanning or sunburn
No Retin-A or retinol on the brow area for 14 days prior
Feel free to come in with their brow makeup on so the artist can see the everyday look you prefer. Reference pictures of shapes and colors of brows are always welcomed.
After your procedure, clients MUST follow these instructions

How long does the result last?
Generally, eyebrows and lips last up to 10-18 months and eyeliner lasts 2-5 years. Please note that results vary depending on the client’s skin types, aftercare, and lifestyles (sun exposure, chemical peel). Each client’s skin will react differently to the pigment. Some skin types retain pigments better than others but on average most clients need a touch-up session every 6 to 12 months
Is the procedure painful?
This may vary according to each individual's pain threshold. Most clients feel comfortable during the procedure – you may feel some pressure, pinching or a mild pricking sensation. The face is one of the most sensitive parts of the body.
–Prior to the procedure a topical anesthetic will be applied to numb the area, and also reapplied during the procedure if necessary. Everyone responds differently to anesthetics, however, the pain level for the procedure is considered mild to none. Topical anesthetics used may contain lidocaine, prilocaine, benzocaine, tetracaine, and epinephrine.
After the procedure, redness and slight swelling in the area are normal. Clients describe the area as feeling similar to a light sunburn. Clients can take Tylenol but not aspirin or ibuprofen.
Is it safe?
Allergic reactions to permanent cosmetic procedures are extremely rare. The cosmetic pigments are medical-grade and manufactured from completely natural ingredients. We use disposable sterile needles and latex-free surgical gloves for every procedure. Hygiene is the most important factor!
What tattoo device/needle do you use when doing Semi-Permanent Make-Up?
We use a customized digital machine made in Germany. The tattoo machine is perfect for the feathered micro pigmentation technique. The needle is extremely thin, sharp, and flexible.
This machine and needle combination produces high-quality hair strokes that are precise with natural-looking curves.
Other benefits of the Micropigmentation procedure:
Reduces cuts on the surface of the skin
Reduces risk of scarring
No bleeding
Quick recovery time compared to other techniques
Will my eyebrows look "natural?
Yes, your eyebrows will look more natural than your own conventional makeup. Unless you tell somebody you've had the procedure, they'll never know. Our method is based on "natural-looking" hair strokes for brows and looks like real hair.
How does the semi-permanent makeup look immediately after the procedure is done?
Depending on your skin type you may experience minimal redness and swelling. Colors will appear darker and somewhat unnatural for the first few days and then lighten to a more natural look during the following weeks. Pigment colors can be soft and natural-looking, or a bit bolder and dramatic – we can adjust this to get the perfect look you want. We can deepen the color with additional applications, or lighten the color slightly based on your preferences.
How long does each procedure take?
Procedure time can slightly vary depending on each client’s skin type.
The average procedure time is approximately 1-2 hr including consultation. (Full Lip procedures are 2+hr)
How many appointments will be necessary?4-8 weeks after the initial session, a follow-up visit is required to perfect the initial result. (Follow-up visit is usually 1hr) Depending on your skin type, the color will fade by 20-50% from the initial session. Follow-ups are highly recommended, 4-8 weeks after the 1st visit. Certain areas may not pick up during the first session and will need to be refilled. Pigment color may need to be adjusted, and brow thickness and more strokes can be added. Individuals with oily skin often require a deeper shade during the touch-up session as the oils tend to lighten the pigment. Most importantly, your touch-up session is when we refine your brows to ensure it looks perfect and retains the color for the whole year
Can I get my touch-up session sooner than 4 weeks?
Touch-up sessions should not be done earlier than 4 weeks after the initial session as the pigment color has not fully settled into the skin. Most importantly, this is to prevent scar damage as the tissue requires time to completely heal.
How much does permanent cosmetic make-up cost?
The average cost for the procedure is based on the procedure time and the technician’s expertise.
Our price is $800 (including a touch-up) and we offer Nano Brows, Soft Powder Brow, and Combo Brows (Nano Brows + Soft Shading).
Are Semi-Permanent Cosmetics truly permanent?
The longevity of semi-permanent makeup really depends on lifestyle, activities, and personal care. Various factors such as UV exposure, usage of medications, excessively dry skin, and smoking, can all affect your final results. Products containing Alpha-hydroxy, Retin-A, and glycolic acids must be kept away from treated areas. Usage of these components will cause premature fading of pigmentation that will require additional maintenance over time. Applying sunscreen on treated areas will greatly prolong the longevity of the procedure.
What happens after a year?
Pigment retention can vary between skin types. Some clients may need a touch-up every 6-12 months to refresh the strokes. The strokes will start to blend with your skin and look like a powder-filled brow when it fades away.
