Pre & Post Care for Brow Lamination
Pre-Care Instructions
Since we recommend not to wet your brow area for 24 hours, itβs best to come to your appointment without any makeup (clean face), if possible.
In case you canβt, we provide eye make-up remover and your beauty artist will clean the area once before the procedure.
If you are a Retin A, aha, acidic face serum, or chemical exfoliation user, you may experience a mild tingling sensation during the process.
If your skin is sensitive, avoid applying Retin A, aha, acidic face serum, or exfoliation around the brow area 72 hours before the treatment.
Post-Care Instructions
Do not wet your eyebrows for 24 hours.
Avoid touching the brow area at the risk of transferring oils.
Do not apply makeup to the brows for 24 hours post-treatment.
Do not apply Retin A, aha, or exfoliate the brow 72 hours after the treatment.
No self-tanner products should be used on the face for at least 48 hours post-treatment.
A fun fact about brow lamination is that you can style your brows as desired. Apply brow gel in the upward motion for fluffier feathery brows. For a slicker, clean look, apply brow gel in an outward motion.
It is normal for them to feel slightly dry after the procedure and the brow serum will help moisten them while styling them in place. (Inquire about brow serum in-store.)
Comb the hairs into place every day.
